How carbonless forms work
NCR paper carries a coating that reacts under pen pressure, so writing on the top sheet marks every sheet below. You keep one copy and hand the customer another, with no carbon sheets to handle.
Two, three or four parts
Two-part sets cover most invoices: one copy for you, one for the customer. Add a third part for an office or accounting copy, or a fourth when a job passes through several hands.
The prices above are for two-part sets printed in black on the front, from $199 for 500 to $519 for 2,500. More parts and printing on both sides add to the price, and the builder shows it.
Padding and numbering
Forms can be padded into books with a glued edge, which keeps sets together in a truck or on a counter. Sequential numbering puts a unique number on every set, so missing invoices are easy to spot.
Cost per set
At 2,500 two-part sets for $519, each set costs about twenty-one cents. Larger runs lower the price per set, and forms keep for years, so ordering the bigger quantity rarely goes to waste.
Set up the form on the phone
Part colors, numbering start points and padding counts are easier to settle in conversation. Call 512-573-1977, and keep an old form nearby to show what you use now.
Forms alongside your marketing
The same trades that write invoices on the job usually advertise on the job too. Contractors often add yard signs for the lawn and door hangers for the neighbors, so one visit does three things.
Ask about combining products when you call, since one order and one shipment keeps the paperwork simple.
